Carrot Walnut Cake and Cupcake

It’s quite sometimes since Hunny’s last new cake introductory..
And today, as to craft 16th July in this blog (hehehe..), with all the excitement, Hunny would like to add another cake in the list.
Carrot Walnut Cake

As per its name, the key ingredients are :
Ms Carrot the Orange; finely grated..
and Mr Walnut the.. (ermmm.. feel free to name. Hehehe); roasted & chopped..
With a spoonful of cinnamon ground, they both got married & create such bold flavor to the taste.

The cake itself is so tender & moist, and every bites is in between of chewy carrots & crunchy walnut. For the whole cake, it layered & frosted with luscious sweet-tangy cream cheese & sprinkled with roasted walnut on top. Same goes to cupcake, it frosted with a swirl of cream cheese as well.

It comes in two options:
Whole cake (square 9" weight around 1.80kg) - RM70/cake
Cupcakes - RM70/25's

Blueberry Prune Cheesecake

Celebrate love with blueberry prune cheesecake.

A heart..

The blueberry goodness is hidden in the bottom of the heart..
Base layer - crumbs of digestive biscuits.
Heart layer - heavenlicious cream cheese with a generous swirl of blueberry.
Top layer - baked sour cream finished with a swirl of fresh cream, blueberry & prune.

Personal plate (round 8") - RM58/cake
Large plate (round 10") - RM100/cake

As to get a perfect weekend to celebrate Hunny's birthday, a birthday bash being held 4 days earlier. It was a garden barbeque style (so called hehehe)..and a must have, the birthday cake!!

Zesty Lemon Cupcake

Cupcakes are always sweet & adorable..
Antonym to sweet is sour. with lemon fruit, sweet & sour reunite beautifully..
A simple look in white souffle cup.

The tangy homemade lemon curd being infused inside the classic moist buttery vanilla cake, swirled with lemon cream & ended with lemon jellybean. Seriously lemonlicious!!

this is the lemon curd; freshly squeezed lemon juice cooked with egg & butter.

Another mini, suits as petit four.

Hunny bakes the croissant!!

To continue the earlier mission of Hunny bakes the breads, a little bit success to show off. hehe..
A very first try..
Hunny to improve the rolling & folding skill definitely. Disregards the appearance, it fluffy & soft enough, everybody in the house loves it.

 Hohoho.. the petite croissant stuffed with smoked chicken slice, veggies & rolled omellete. It really triggers the appetite.

Somehow, making own croissant is a very time consuming..
Another easy option..hehe.

Now is March!!

Hunny loves March more than the other months.. When March finally comes, Hunny with no patience will counting.. from day 1 until a very fine day, a celebration to be..

Classic Red Velvet Cake

Ho ho ho!! An evergreen classic cake now officially introduced in Hunny's kitchen.
A slice anyone?? hehe..

 The naked red velvet layered with luscious cream cheese..
Each layer of cake was individually well-baked, it creates a perfect soft crunchy on top..  

Hunny once said, "Wow, merahnya!!" The red food coloring + cocoa powder = the ultimate deep red. What a classic color anyway!!
Apart of it vibrant color, the taste of creamy buttermilk blends with cocoa & a tinge of lemon.. then finished with cream cheese beautifully creates a creamy sweet sour in every bite. You will not enough a slice.. hehe.

Round 7" with cream cheese frosting.

As usual, to give some options.. it comes in 2 different frostings.
